Business Cycles

OBJECTIVE 

Students shall be able to

  1. define GDP - nominal and real.

  2. differentiate between durable and nondurable goods.

  3. explain the aggregate demand - aggregate supply model.

  4. define inflation, deflation, and stagflation.

  5. identify causes of inflation.

  6. identify the four types of unemployment.

  7. identify the phases of the business cycle.

  8. list causes of poverty.

  9. identify problems associated with various phases of the business cycle.

 

ACTIVITIES

  1. Students shall identify key macroeconomic terminology.

  2. Students shall take notes on the business cycle.

  3. Students shall view "Economics USA: Booms and Busts" and answer questions.
