Working with Demand Variables

OBJECTIVE 

Students shall be able to

  1. identify substitutes and complements,

  2. differentiate between a change in demand and a change in quantity demanded, and

  3. graph changes in demand and quantity demanded.

 

ACTIVITIES

  1. Working in small groups, students shall complete the "Getting Familiar with Demand" exercise.

Assignment:

  1. Working with your group, complete the "Getting Familiar with Demand" exercise and paste it into the left side of your notebook. [PDF file]

 

ASSESSMENT PROCEDURES

Monitor and adjust, as needed. Check student responses while working. Grade student responses when notebooks are collected.
