Personal Property and Bailments

OBJECTIVES 

Students shall be able to

  1. distinguish between lost and misplaced property.

  2. decide when a gift of personal property is completed.

  3. explain basic features of the law of patents, copyrights and trademarks.

  4. name and describe the principal types of bailments.

  5. contrast the rights and duties of a bailor with those of a bailee.

 

ACTIVITIES

  1. Students shall complete the chapter 19 worksheet.

  2. Students shall answer cases from their textbook.

 

Assignments:

  1. Do the chapter 19 worksheet. [Word file or PDF file]

  2. Answer the "Cases in Point" and "Cases to Judge" from chapter 19 (p. 275) on the left side of your notebook.

 

ASSESSMENT PROCEDURES
