How Contracts Arise

OBJECTIVES 

Students shall be able to

  1. list the six elements of a contract,

  2. name and explain the major classes of contracts,

  3. state the three basic elements of an offer,

  4. discuss the requirements of an acceptance,

  5. explain how an offer can come to an end, and

  6. decide cases involving these concepts.

ACTIVITIES

  1. Students shall respond to "language of the law," "Cases in Point," and "Cases to Judge" from chapter seven.

  2. Students shall decide these supplemental cases.

Assignments: Respond to "Language of the Law," "Cases in Point," and "Cases to Judge" from chapter seven on the left side of your notebook. Then decide these cases, also on the left side.

 

ASSESSMENT PROCEDURES

Monitor and adjust as needed. Grade the answers to the question set in the notebook.
