A.P. Classes
where K.O.'s Art Department offers 3 A.P. classes: A.P. 2-D, A.P. 3-D, and A.P. Drawing can be taken in the junior and senior years. Building a portfolio is a process that can take up to 4 years to complete and is a cooperative effort between all art teachers. Remember to save all art work in a safe place at home if you are considering one of the A.P. classes.
The Advanced Placement classes are busy compiling their portfolios for the College Board Portfolio Exam in the spring. Each student works on a portfolio that consists of 3 sections: Quality (5 actual pieces), Concentration (12 pieces), and Breadth (12 pieces).
