Six weeks grades will be calculated using the following criteria:

	Tests - 70%
	Daily Grades - 20%
	Participation - 10%

Tests

Most tests will be multiple choice in format, with most questions coming directly from the Wilson text. A few tests will have free response sections.

Daily Grades & Quizzes

Students will prepare to discuss materials by completing reading preparation sheets. Other daily assignments will also be made. Occasionally quizzes will be given.

Participation

Students must contribute to class discussions and be aware of current events. Half of the grade in this category will be based on the teacher's evaluation of the quantity and quality of each student's contribution to class discussions.
